Some plugins may require more issue tracking control than what is currently offered by the Hudson JIRA. For example, the ability to manage versions and releases or to have components per plugin. In the Artifactory plugin, we have such requirements so we manage the issues in an independent JIRA project on another JIRA.
It would be real nice if the plugin information macro on the wiki would allow specifying an alternative issue tracking URL for this purpose.
