Synched Azure AD groups showing as greyed out while assigning roles

      We have Jenkins integrated with AzureEntraID SSO with SAML, and we use the
      Role-based Authorization Strategy Version 717.v6a_69a_fe98974
      With Jenkins Version 2.440.1 LTS
      java.runtime.version 17.0.10+7

      and we are not able to assign any new roles as the synched groups are showing as greyed out, we cannot see anything in the logs.
