Before LTS 2.462.1, I could click on the button to temporarily disable the master node which would disable any jobs from launching AND new jobs won't be in the queue.

Upon updating to LTS 2.462.1 (technically 2.462.3), this behavior no longer occurs and new jobs that are scheduled start even with the master node disabled.

The Jenkins "Quiet Down" mode gets me closer to the behavior I want, but it pauses existing jobs that are running.

      • it also puts scheduled jobs on the queue

I would like something like "Quiet Down" mode that has these changes

      1. it doesn't pause already-running jobs
      2. it doesn't put scheduled jobs that get triggered on the queue
