In the list of supported repport formats for GCC there are two versions "gcc" and "gcc3". I don't think the latter one exists? I think it should be gcc4?

Gcc has recently released version 15, so the version number is very outdated anyway. Is there still a need for two versions? What is the history behind the two? Is gcc used for versions <4?
