After upgrading from 2.492 to 2.504.1 we noticed that on really wide pipelines with lots of stages the screen is truncated and no horizontal bar is displayed by the the browser. We do see that the stages area does have an horizontal bar now but this is hard to see and use since we need to scroll down all the way to the bottom of the list of pipeline runs (which we increase to 30.
