[JENKINS-7607] release a single module

This would be helpful for me as well. I have several projects in which the modules are only loosely related and are managed on different release schedules. The modules are fairly small so it doesn't really make sense to manage them as completely separate projects. The current implementation of m2release forces me to create separate hudson jobs for each module. It would be very helpful to selectively release modules.

building individual modules in jenkins (let alone releasing them) is a nightmare waiting to happen that needs to be stopped, and the ability to even do this may be removed in a future version as it causes internal mayhem.

Therefor marking this as wont_fix.
