Bug Report: Intermittent Permission Denied Error in vSphere Plugin 2.27 with Jenkins 2.479.3

      Plugin Name: vSphere Cloud Plugin
      Plugin Version: 2.27
      Jenkins Version: 2.479.3

      Issue Description:

We are experiencing intermittent "Permission Denied" errors when Jenkins attempts to connect to vSphere using the configured service account. The error occurs during the Login method invocation via the plugin, even though manual login to vCenter using the same account works consistently.

      What Works:

      • Manual login to vCenter using the same service account.
      • Jenkins jobs sometimes succeed without any changes.

      What Fails:

      • Jenkins intermittently fails to authenticate with vSphere.
      • No consistent pattern; issue appears randomly across jobs.

      Troubleshooting Done:

      • Verified service account permissions with IT.
      • Confirmed plugin version and Jenkins compatibility.
      • IT confirmed no permission issues from vSphere side.

      Expected Behavior:

Jenkins should consistently authenticate with vSphere using the configured service account without intermittent failures.

I have attached the error log for your reference.
