We are currently using the Jenkins GitHub plugin and would like to avoid using personal access tokens (PATs) or user/password authentication for security reasons.(today we are using it to clone the repo's in each pipeline)

Is there any plan to add support for authentication via Managed Identity (or a similar identity-based mechanism) in the near future? If not, is this something that is being considered, or is it currently out of scope for the plugin roadmap?
