Component/s: nodejs-plugin
We've noticed that NodeJS versions are no longer showing new/updated versions available for selection when adding/configuring a global NodeJS installation:
Latest versions (from NodeJS download site):
26.13.0
25.9.0
24.22.2
I'm not sure if it's related, but I noticed the following in logs on Jenkins startup:
2026-10-29 01:43:04.867+0000 [id=150] WARNING h.m.DownloadService$Downloadable#updateNow: No tool installer metadata found for jenkins.plugins.nodejs.tools.MirrorNodeJSInstaller 2026-10-29 01:43:05.272+0000 [id=150] WARNING h.m.DownloadService$Downloadable#updateNow: No tool installer metadata found for hudson.plugins.nodejs.tools.NodeJSInstaller
From a few other issues, I found this URL and was able to confirm it can be loaded from our Jenkins controller (and I see it has updated versions): http://updates.jenkins-ci.org/updates/hudson.plugins.nodejs.tools.NodeJSInstaller.json.
We're not quite sure where to look next or how to troubleshoot further.
Can someone please share how we can investigate this issue further to resolve the problem? Thank you!
