      19:31 < peewee> Starting build 46 for job default
      19:32 < peewee> Project default build (46): FAILURE in 1 min 33 sec: http://***/job/***/./default/46/

      I would expect something more elaborate like:

      19:31 < peewee> Starting build 46 for job foobar axis1=value axis2=value2
      19:32 < peewee> Project default build (46): FAILURE in 1 min 33 sec: http://link_to_stdout_of_the_job

            Could you please elaborate on what you exactly want to see?
            The axis values for a matrix build (so one notification per matrix configuration) and a link to the build console instead of the build's main page?

            I'm still not very familiar with matrix jobs, so you may have to help me understand some things about them.

            Take a peek at http://hudson.fubar.si/job/mediacore/, it defines a matrix. I would like to see name of the project and what parameters from matrix are used when running the build.

            For the link (can be shortened with bit.ly or something), the shortcut would be to http://hudson.fubar.si/job/g-pypi2/portage=portage2.1,python=2.6/83/console

            The more descriptive name was already implemented in JENKINS-6560 (ircbot v2.5)

            As for linking to the console: no that's not how any notification plugin I know works. All of them are linking to the build page. So I'm reluctant to implement it.
