I have a bunch of parametrized jobs that can only be started by a user. I would like to have the ability to send him, and not the "commiters", an email at the end of the job giving him the status of his build (success, failure,...).

      The change request is:

      • in "Content Token Reference", add a colunm "Send To Requester".

      Thanks

For me there is exactly the same situation, so +1 for this feature.
Additionally the email of the requester (the guy who triggered the build) should be taken from LDAP if this authentication is used. The Job Exporter Plugin is already able to figure out this information - maybe this could be used?!

          Hello,

great feature, but I have one question/request: Does this even work for upstream builds that where triggered by a requester?

          Example:
          Job1 is triggered by me
          Job2 is triggered by Job1
Job2 fails and "send to requester" is activated
          Will I get a notfication by Email-ext?

Hi, No this does not work for upstream build. I'll fix this weekend.

Will this fix use the Email address set for the User, in User's Configure page? I found it can't pick up that setting, and will always fall back to alternatives, such as use the name and suffix. I'm using 2.14.
