After installing plugin updates, hudson does not shutdown gracefully in glassfish

      I start glassfish in my init.d profile under my everyday user. It serves hudson, plus a few other web applications. If I install/update a plugin from hudson, upon restarting it will kill the JVM. This in turn kills glassfish since they are running under the same JVM. Since I am not currently running glassfish in a daemon I need to manually restart it.
