      Hudson 1.395
      ClearCase plugin 1.3.5

In the Hudson configuration screen, the "Windows default dynamic view storage directory" has a default value. If I remove this (changing to empty string) and save, the empty string/path is stored. However, the next time I go into the Hudson config screen the default value is restored. If I'm not careful are remove this, my empty string/path configuration is overwritten with the default value.

[JENKINS-8632] Default config value is restored in UI for view storage dir when having it set to empty string

I checked the code and don't see any default value for this field.
I believe you are talking about hudson/configure, right?

Have you tried with a different browser? Maybe your browser is doing the prefill.

          Yes, I talk about hudson/configure.
I've tested firefox 3.0.5 and msie 6.0sp2. The same result - a default value is added if the stored value is blank. The default value is "\\server\views\dynamic".
It's a corp environment, so I can't test any other versions or browsers.
