Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.22 (client/server)
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Client release 5.5 (Tikanga)
This is a minor issue, and easy to reproduce.
It is mostly a user problem, but maybe the configuration panel could alert the user that there is trailing white space in the name of the CVS branch.
This would avoid this nasty error.
[CONTROL-LOChanges-2011-03-B] $ cvs -Q -z3 -d :pserver:user@cvs.server.foo:/projects/CVS co -P -r "CoolBarnch-B " -d workspace -D "Friday, March 11, 2011 10:45:04 PM UTC" FOOBAR cvs [checkout aborted]: tag `CoolBarnch-B ' has non-visible graphic characters FATAL: CVS failed. exit code=1
[JENKINS-9045] When configuring a branch jenkins does not strip the CVS branch string.
