The diff view keeps saying "No permission to view config history" while I use "Logged-in users can do anything"

I can select the 'Job Configuration History' but when I select one of the different configurations to view the diff (hit 'Show diffs' button), I get the message "No permission to view config history" while I use "Logged-in users can do anything" authorization model.

Well, I cannot reproduce the problem. Does it occur with the config history of single jobs or with the system config? (Or with both?)
If it is happening with jobs: Is it happening for all jobs or just a certain project type?
And are you actually able to configure jobs while logged in?
