Jenkins seems to crash the JVM when using the Subversion plugin. I am using 2.4.1 of that plugin. The problem manifests itself when we use the drop down list to display the SVN tags in a parametrized build.

To get around the problem, I downgraded to pre 2.x versions of the SVN plugin. However, other plugins that I need to use seem to want to upgrade our Jenkins installation to the latest SVN plugin, with disastrous consequences.

      I enclose a JVM dump.

[JENKINS-24438] Jenkins crashes regularly using Subversion Plugin 2.4.1

Appears to be related to use of Gnome Keyring by the SVNKit library.

May be related to SVNKIT-312, try what's described here as a workaround.

The error appears due to gnome-keyring.
SVNKIT-312 has not been fixed yet, hence you have to apply workarounds.

Created JENKINS-25202, which would change the default behavior.
It would resolve this issue as well

I believe SVNKIT-312 was fixed in 1.8.4 (I cant be sure as the TMateSoft JIRA is down) but according to the changelog there was a crasher related to gnome-keyring. I am going to assume that this is the right one since complaints about this issue have dried up over the intervening years.

Please reopen and comment if this is still a problem for you on the latest Jenkins LTS and latest Subversion plugin.
