Jenkins will now refuse to load plugins with unsatisfied dependencies catastrophically breaks Scriptler and other plugins

    • Windows 10, Jenkins 2.16, scriptler latest available version.

      Upgrading to Jenkins 2.16 was horrendous. It broke two of my plugins, scriptler and something relying on version 2.6 of Subversion plugin (stated fix version is not available anywhere).

      DON"T upgrade to v2.16 unless you want to spend hours restoring your job configurations after downgrading to v2.15.

          imod Possibly, but this report is too light on details (and too heavy on the ranting). Doesn't say in what way it broke, no log excerpts, nothing, making investigation impossible. Would be great if apgray could provide these if they're still around.

          Any newer version of the mentioned plugins will do. And we provide archives for all past releases linked from a plugin's wiki page, so this particular problem should at least be unlikely.
