After updating the config file provider plugin to version 2.15.4, I was then unable to apply any changes made to any of the saved files.

To reproduce:

• Create shared maven settings file
• Save settings file
• Make a change to settings file
• Attempt to save changes

The above steps for me would result in the file being created, but then once created it could not be updated.

Next I attempted to revert the plugin to the previous version (2.15.1) but when the plugin was reverted, all of my saved configuration files were deleted from Jenkins, seemingly wiped completely. Luckily they were able to be recovered from a backup.
