Jenkins folder lists folder as .. » vphad » MavenRep, but failed to open job

      Hi Team,

I have a folder with name vphad & have few jobs under it.

I am seeing that, the jobs & folders are listed as below,

      .. » vphad » MavenRep
      .. » vphad » SonarQube_Upgrade_Report
      .. » vphad » srds
      .. » vphad » Test-1

However, when I am clicking the jobs, it's opening below link (example),

      http://<MyJen>/job/vphad/job/vphad/job/SonarQube_Upgrade_Report/

As you can see from url that, it has vphad twice, but it doesn't exists.

So far, I am seeing this for toplevel folders only.

      Information:

      Jenkins - Jenkins ver. 2.7.20

      Folder Plugin - 5.15

[JENKINS-43641] Jenkins folder lists folder as .. » vphad » MavenRep, but failed to open job

I am seeing this issue too,  twice in the past few weeks, plugin version 1.7.3 and jenkins version 2.103

I haven't seen any stacktraces, but it's like the jobs think they are nested in the same folder twice. so all the urls are being generated like job/folder/job/folder/job/job_name much like your example.

          Hello everyone,

FYI we cannot fix this easily because reproduction steps are not clear. Hence, if anybody can provide steps to reproduce this issue, this would go a long way helping us fixing this.

          Thank you
