After the recent performance regression JENKINS-35515 we updated to the latest version - and now Views with individual jobs in them work instantly (even with all of the several hundred jobs at once).

However, the Nested View which contains all of groups is slow.  It takes 4 seconds to switch to, which is an awful lot slower than the complete list of all of the jobs - but only if the role is using an AD group rather than a user ID. 

I'm aware that the Nested View plugin is not currently being maintained - is there one which is known to work well with the role strategy plugin?  (Or failing that, any chance of this being sped up?)
