Currently, the Build Executor Status section on the Dashboard only shows whether a slave if online or offline. If an error occurs while launching the slave, there is no visual indication on the Dashboard that the slave is offline because of that error.

An enhanced Dashboard could show an error icon if an error occurred while launching the slave. It could also show that a slave is in the process of being launched. See the attached patch for an example of this.
