No idea why this was assigned to me; I am just a very vociferous victim ( user ) of the tfs-plugin. Microsoft have clearly abandoned support for it.
I did my best to get it restored when it was suggested to not be OSI compliant INFRA-2751, only for it to be pulled for security vulnerabilities and more security vulnerabilities.
Workarounds to installing it have been documented in this Community post: Is it possible to integrate TFS into Jenkins? and in many StackOverflow responses, including this one (please upvote): Team Foundation Server plugin is not available in Jenkins.
Personally, I think it's shameful Microsoft claims to be all Open Source friendly and then abandons Jenkins support for not just the TFS plugin but also (silently) for the TFS SDK CLI which was the recommended alternative, but also the entire suite of Jenkins plug-ins for Azure and Azure Repos VS plugins (which was at least publicized and has a presently supported replacement) for their retail products!
What this plugin needs is someone to step up and adopt the plugin . You could also reach out to your Microsoft representative and shame them for their inaction.
