The join plugin has an issue with the transition that was made in Jenkins 2.277.1 from using tables for UI element placement to use divs. See JENKINS-64639 for more details of that issue.

The join plugin was last released 6 years ago. That is many years prior to Jenkins 2.277.1. You have several options:

          • Switch from using the join plugin with freestyle jobs to use the Jenkins Pipeline. Remove the join plugin from your Jenkins installation. This is the path chosen by roughly 200 installations in the last 12 months
          • Adopt the join plugin, fix the tables to divs issue, and release a new version of the plugin. That will resolve JENKINS-64639 and will resolve the issue for you and for other users of the join plugin. See the "Improve a plugin" tutorial for introductory steps to prepare to adopt a plugin
          • Download and install a pre-release build of the join plugin that is attached to the JENKINS-65480 issue report as join.hpi
