I have a pipeline, defined in a Jenkinsfile, with a release stage that executes conditionally: it has a when clause that lets it run only for the main branch. This works, but for all other branches the builds are recorded as failed, even though all the stages except release ran successfully. It looks like skipping any stage is regarded as failure, which is wrong.
