      • Observe the giant plus sign

I am using FireFox, I see that might be relevant from past similar issues.

I can't duplicate the problem. Can you provide more details of the steps that you took, including the plugin versions that are installed?

Steps that I took while trying to duplicate the problem:

          1. Create an empty plugins.txt file
          2. Download and run Jenkins 2.387.2 with the run-jenkins.sh shell script
          3. Use Firefox 112.0.1 (64 bit) on Windows to enter the generated password and complete the setup wizard to install the suggested plugins
          4. Create a new Pipeline project with git SCM
          5. Confirm that the Pipeline is created and runs as expected

I captured the list of plugins that were installed by those operations. They are available as plugins.txt

I suspect your installation has an outdated plugin, but that is surprising, since you used the setup wizard to install the plugins.

I'll work on that. I want to confirm, I tested other browsers and this issue is unique to only Firefox.

It may be that you're using the ESR version of Firefox (102) while I'm using the most recent release (112).
