Jenkins LTS no longer highlights alerts (regression in 2.452.2)

    • 2.452.3

Probably due to JENKINS-73114 backport, Jenkins 2.452.2 does not style alerts correctly.

Daniel Beck added a comment - Looks like https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/9115 wasn't backported, so at a minimum, alerts.scss is not used as in https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/9115/files#diff-51b2f569c56b38a697d1caf6189d41b83639e83cc8b864d45bc0e5c5b43198b8 .

Encounter the same issue when doing the upgrade testing. The style in 2.452.2 is not user friendly

The missing alerts also seen in the Plugins section for these types of alerts...

"Warning: This plugin requires newer versions of dependencies and at least one of those plugins is not compatible with the installed version. This is usually the case because its behavior changed, or it uses a different settings format than the installed version. Jobs using that plugin may need to be reconfigured, and/or you may not be able to cleanly revert to the prior version without manually restoring old settings. Consult the plugin release notes for details."
