Currently, all pipelines in a Github Organization have Github webhooks and Git polling both automatically configured. The polling is automatically scheduled to run every minute. See the attached image "repo_config.png". 

Jenkins has frequently had issues with pipelines triggering out of control. There should be an option to turn off polling for a specific pipeline within a Github Organization (without deleting the Jenkinsfile. We will still want to build the job manually until the triggering issue is fixed).
