      Description

      Hi Team.

It's a major issue as the Jira plugin is not populating any data from Jira site.

We had successfully configured the Jira & Jenkins integration on the Jenkins server with the help of Jira plugin and it passed the test connection. But when we use "Jira Release Version Parameter" option on the job configuration page, then it's not populating any data. Please refer below screenshot for your reference.

This is the message we are getting on the build screen.

Which build step doesn't work for you? Can you show the configuration of that build step?

          Dear Radek Antoniuk ,

In my case, I want to echo the release version of Jira in Jenkins Build Step.
          the following,
          This project is parameterized:

In Build Step, I want to echo Jira Release Version:

While I run Build with parameters, there is an error:

do i miss something? thank for help.

          Best regards,

No, I think you don't miss anything, all looks correct, the weird thing is you say that the Validate button works fine.

          To sum up:

          • you are using Jira Cloud instance
          • the project key is TEST
          • your Jenkins user has the required permissions to the TEST project (validation doesn't check that!)

I have just tried again on my local instance and it works perfectly fine for me with your setup, so you need to find out why you get this error: getVersionsJira REST client get versions error. cause: status code: 404, reason phrase: Not Found

If you don't see anything in the logs, I suggest looking with tcpdump or any other tool to see where what URL Jenkins is trying to reach - maybe that will shed some light.

          Edit:

I am able to get the exact same error if I change the project key to something else that doesn't exist - this looks to me like a permission problem to your Jira project (or a project key mismatch).
