"Priority Sorter Plugin" broken in Jenkins 2.277.4

    • 4.0.0 included the changes necessary for this issue, 4.0.1 fixes a different issue

      "Priority sorter plugin" not configurable any more.

      1. The configuration page is messed up (see screenshot)
      2. "Save" doesn't work
        (This is the definitive killer)
      3. "Delete" and "Add" buttons don't work
      4. While I can change the content of text boxes or drop-down lists
      5. Most probably due to <table> to <div> in Jenkins 2.277.1

      (We jumped from 2.263.4 to 2.277.4, so I can't prove for LTS releases in between)

          Might have created a duplicate of this at: https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-66938

          The workaround described there (sending the query manually) makes this plugin usable for one-time configuration.

          https://ci.jenkins.io/job/Plugins/job/priority-sorter-plugin/job/PR-88/ provides a prototype of the proposed fix. I'm not comfortable that the proposed fix will resolve the issue in all cases. I'd love to have others review it interactively and through the code.
