Debian kernel 2.6.32-028stab108.1, jenkins installed via apt-get on a virtual machine, using openjdk-6-*, no fancy plugin (default ones + role strategy)

      Description

Unlike other issues about hangs at startup, mine hangs after all jobs are loaded and happens all the time. I tried resetting jobs with no luck.

I am attaching the log file, a jmap dump and thread dump.

Jenkins was working well with version 1.529, but somehow, my server was restarted (it's a virtual machine which host is not administered by me) and the hang problem appeared. I upgraded it to 1.533 with an intermediate stop to 1.531 but no luck either.

Try to use oracle jdk or openjdk-7. Openjdk-6 was not perfect... Also in 7 version you can get performance improvements.

Switched to oracle version 7. Now it hangs right after the message that says that all jobs are loaded. Besides, I no longer get the message that jenkins is being ready.
I tried to reset the job folder to an empty one with no luck.
I guess I should look into the other issues about startup hanging after jobs are loaded (I beleive there is a work around that I can try).

Does this issue still occur on recent Jenkins versions? If so, please provide updated information. If not, how did you resolve it?
