As a pipeline administrator, I should be able to attach credentials for scanning my repositories directly to the Multi-branch or Organization Folder. Currently, I can only use globally-defined credentials for my repositories.
Root issue: Folder-derived pipeline projects are not compatible with Folder-level credentials.
Steps to reproduce :
- Create a GitHubOrganizationFolder (or another multi-branch) pipeline project
- Add a user/pass credential to the newly created folder-derived job type (not at the global Jenkins level)
- Attempt to select the newly added credential in the pulldown
Expected results: global and folder-level credentials are shown in the drop-down and the new credential is selectable.
Actual results: folder-level credentials are not displayed in the pulldown and are not selectable.
Note: This improvement should be made to all multi-branch project types (GitHubOrgFolder, BitBucketOrgFolder, Multi-branch jobs, etc).
