High CPU load due to running LDAP connection threads

      High CPU load while running jenkins

       

      A list of threads is running at 100%

       

      A thread dump (threaddump-1661333989080.tdump) shows the following call stack of the threads listed above (snippet)

      Firstly I thought it's in context with JENKINS-52374. However my threads are still running and not waiting. 

       

      Systeminfo

      Jenkins: 2.319.3

      Java: build 1.8.0_291-b10

      LDAP-plugin: 2.8

      We have approximately 60 build pipelines (which include several branches each) on our build system.

          Problem was Telegraf service on slave which triggers API calls in master vm. They trigger then permission calls which lead to AD requests.
